Meet Head of Training, Sam C!

What's your role at Barracudas?

Head of Training – currently covering Recruitment whilst Emily is on maternity leave.

How long have you worked at Barracudas?

This is my 6th year with Barracudas!   

What is your main hobby?

I have always played football and enjoy both the competitive and social sides of that. My niece is a new addition to the family so I enjoy going to see her and I’m also getting married this summer, so planning for a wedding seems to have taken up a big chunk of my spare time..!

What do you enjoy most about working for Barracudas?

I really enjoy the training events that we run, I’m involved in delivering on Senior Training, Multi-Activity & Fencing courses as well as developing some of our online learning modules. I really enjoy meeting both general and senior staff and then using their feedback to develop and mould our training sessions for future seasons.

Have you ever worked at camp, if so what was it like? 

I have worked on camp in both general and senior roles. I really enjoy running different sessions for the kids and playing games that I used to enjoy (and still do) when I was their age! 

Describe in 3 words why you love working for Barracudas? 

FUN, enjoyable, fulfilling
