Childcare Vouchers and Tax Free Childcare vouchers

You can pay in part or in full with Tax-Free childcare at Barracudas.

You can select the option to pay by Tax-Free childcare online where you must enter your long childcare reference number (usually 4 initials followed by 5 digits and ending in TFC e.g. BBAR12345TFC). 

How to pay

• Select your camp location and dates
• Select 'Tax-Free childcare/Childcare Vouchers' in the payment options
• Login to your Tax-Free childcare account
• Send payment to Barracudas (you can choose to pay the minimum deposit, part payment of full payment)
• Login to your Tax-Free childcare account each month and make a payment to Barracudas Activity Day Camps OR log in at least 7 days before our balance due date and pay the balance in full

We should receive this payment within 7-10 working days. Until we receive this your booking will remain as a 'provisional' booking. Once we've been notified of your payment we'll confirm your booking with an email. If you are unsure how to proceed please call us on 01480 467 567 and we can run through the process. Your booking will be saved for 10 days. If we haven’t received the minimum payment by this time your booking will be removed and you’ll need to book again.

Paying in instalments

You can secure your booking by paying our minimal deposit amount with Tax-Free childcare, then pay us in instalments up until the balance due date, or clear the full balance by our balance due date.

To manage your childcare costs, you can set up a monthly standing order from your bank to your Tax-Free childcare account. You can either login to your Tax-Free childcare account each month to make the payments to us regularly, or choose to leave this in your account and just clear your outstanding amount before our balance due date.

Making a booking within a week of your dates

If you're booking within 7 days of the booking start date, or your camp is busy and we have run the registers for that day/week, this option won't be available in the payment section. In this case you'll need to make the full payment by credit/debit card at the time of booking. You can still pay with Childcare Vouchers/Tax-Free Childcare. Just request the payment as you would normally and we'll reimburse you once we receive the Childcare Vouchers/Tax-Free Childcare payment.

Tax-Free childcare refunds

Tax-Free childcare payments can now accept refunds. To process a refund back to your Tax-Free childcare account we will need your payment reference number which begins with 11.

This can be found the following way:
Sign into your account through the Tax-Free childcare website. 
Select ‘Your Tax-Free childcare Account’
Select Manage Account
Select Pay money in
Your payment reference  will appear on this page under ‘payment reference’

You can use childcare vouchers as full or part payment. You can either book online and select this option or notify us over the phone. Either way your booking will save on our system for 10 days until we receive your childcare vouchers. After this date, if we haven't received payment for your booking it will be automatically removed.

If you book early and your provider can accommodate it you can pay monthly childcare voucher instalments to us, helping you spread the cost.

Refunds can be made directly back to your childcare voucher provider with the exception on Edenred where we would offer this as credit in your account or transfer to another Childcare provider you are signed up with. NB: Bravo benefits charge a £25 admin fee to process a refund, this cost will be deducted from the refund amount and Bravo benefits will be advising customers of this. 

We use the childcare voucher companies listed below, but we'll always try to add a new one if you use another provider. Contact your childcare voucher company to forward the payment to us, quoting your customer or booking ID as a reference. This payment can take up to 7 days to reach us, so in the meantime your booking will remain as a 'provisional' booking. Once we've been notified of your payment we'll confirm your booking with an email. If you are unsure how to proceed please call us on 01480 467 567 and we can run through the process.
