Colchester Activity Camp

Our camp in Colchester offers fun school holiday activities for children between 4½ and 14 years old and peace of mind for parents.

2025 camps to be announced in November!

Our venue at Colchester County High School has fantastic facilities and features including:

• Indoor swimming pool*
• **Motorports track (under 7s electric go karts)
• **Archery range (minimum age 7 years)
• Art room
• Sports hall
• Drama studio
• Tennis courts
• Vast playing fields
• Less than 2 miles from city centre, easy access to the A12 & local train station

*Please note we will swim as often as we can, but swimming sessions are subject to pool and lifeguard availability.

**Specialist activities not available at half terms

Our standard hours are from 8.30am-5.30pm, with the option to extend these hours from 8.00am-6.00pm with our Early and Late Clubs.

My little man Jacob is a little shy to begin with at new things and had never been to a camp before. He has been at the Colchester camp for the last 3 weeks and absolutely LOVED it!! The best part of his day when asked is “swimming and the billy hunt”!! He’s progressed so much with his confidence in the water that I’ve now registered him for swimming lessons at his request! Our venue at Colchester County High School for Girls offers the perfect facilities to accommodate our 80+ activities. They'll have an amazing time in the summer holidays at Barracudas Colchester.

Situated less than 2 miles from the town centre, with easy access to the A12 and local train station, this is also a convenient location for commuting parents.

Children make new friends, try new activities but most of all have lots of FUN at Barracudas Colchester camp! Our camp's offers a safe and well organised programme for local kids to enjoy. With great facilities, unrivalled activities and choice for every session, they're sure to have an amazing time in school holidays. 

What's more, if you want your children to develop skills in certain areas, Discovery Squad (summer only), Motor Mania, Swim School and Dance Fusion are all available as Skills Builder Courses at the Colchester camp.
