Exceptional staff

Barracudas has the highest expectations of our camp staff. All staff are required to have an enhanced level DBS qualification to be able to work at our camps.

What’s more, over 70% of Barracudas staff are fully or nearly qualified teaching professionals or specialist instructors, familiar with the strict guidelines of a childcare setting.

To be able to lead specific activities such as archery, fencing, inflatables, motorsports, swimming and the waterpark, staff must also have specialist qualifications.

Staff are not just reassuringly qualified to care for your children at camp, they are also enthusiastic about their roles. Over 60% of those who work with us return for another season and we have a number of long-timers who’ve been with us around 10 years!

Amazing activities

We offer an unrivalled range of activities at our camps. With over 80 options available, whether its teamwork, sports, arts and crafts, science or or specialist activities, there’s something to suit every child.

Timetables are carefully planned with your child in mind! We offer a huge range of sessions that will always be fun, varied and built on our ACTIVE motto.

With 6 sessions each day and choice for every one, there’ll be no danger in them struggling to have fun!

Safe and secure

We’ve always taken our responsibility to your child’s safety and security seriously at Barracudas.

Barracudas also introduced contactless check in and parent app in 2021. Parents can check their children in with their unique QR code and scan this at collection time to sign them out of camp. The QR code is emailed directly to you ahead of camp. 

Our handy parent app has been designed with busy parents in mind. This gives you access to your booking details, including your QR code as well as directions to camp and a handy pre-camp check list. We also introduced the daily timetable feature in 2022 so you can see what choices your child has when they're at camp.
