Customers review our holiday camps
Barracudas Activity Day Camps have been running for over 26 years.
As we enter our 27th year of providing fantastic Easter activities and summer camp fun, we reflect on what our bookers think about us.
We recently signed up to Trustpilot but have been conducting our own customer feedback surveys for many years. We love to hear the great things parents have to say about our camp. It’s also important that we hear any criticisms too so that we can continue to improve and grow.

I wouldn't send my child anywhere else.Great holiday camp. My child comes home happy and content. Easy booking system and the staff are amazing.

Fantastic holiday camp. Brilliantly entertaining for my son, he absolutely loved it. I was very happy with how well run, safe and professional it was. He will be returning!

My daughter (10) visited the Streatham club. She absolutely loved it and was looking forward to going every day. She found the activities varied and fun. Much better than other camps. Highly recommended. Customer Service is great as well.

My daughter loves it there and I have faced no problems with the staff. They are very kind loving and take good care of the children. As a parent it is most important to me that my daughter is in safe hands and I go to work satisfied and relaxed.

Activities
Great range of activities. My son (11) tried this playscheme for the first time last year. He really enjoyed the range of activities and our scheme had a swimming pool too. Great, friendly staff.

The best activities and learning new experiences every day. My son has been going to Barracudas since he was 4 and a half. He absolutely loves going and taking part in such a wide range of activities. Come rain or shine, the mixture of indoor and outdoor sessions keep him fit and active and he loves the creative activities too. Knowing he's at Barracudas whilst I am working, gives me peace of mind as it's both safe and fun!

Best Activity camp my son has experienced- and he has been to loads. 5 stars! If Barracudas Camp was an Avenger it would be Thor because he is the best!

Lots of activities and choice for ages 4 and above, kids grouped per age, great value, local to home. Also opens 8-6 which allows full time parents to do a full days work.

Fabulous surroundings and wide variety of events for children to select their activities. Great options for wrap around extra hours care.

Barracudas is an excellent option to offer the children in the long summer holidays! The staff are great and keep the children engaged throughout the whole day! I'll be booking my daughters in again this summer, they are already counting down the days!

The staff are fantastic and remember the kids names from one year to the next which means they look forward to going to see who their leader will be. They also do activities they can’t anywhere else. So pleased this is on our door step!

Our daughter absolutely loves Barracudas & gets upset on the school holidays they are not running! There are so many different activities for rain or shine & the camp leaders are so cheerful!

What a lovely experience for little ones! Team are fantastic, always friendly, fun and made sure my little one had a ball! So much to do, swimming, science, go carting, bouncy castles and fun games! My 5 year old even wrote and illustrated a story because I don't have a bedtime book! Cannot praise them enough! Well done for all your hard work!

Always great fun, my children have a wonderful time when they attend camp. The staff are very attentive and very good at updating you, should any issues arise.

Barracudas is more than holiday child care ... it’s an experience for your kids. The young adults I have met that run the camps are all bright, smart fun and all fabulous role models.

Great activity camp for the school holidays. My daughters have been going to Barracudas for years at Easter and in the summer holidays and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a great way to give them something fun and active to do over the holidays.

My children - well the eldest has being going to Barracudas for 6 years. Activities are excellent staff superb. Stimulates them and they come home buzzing. Couldn't recommend it more.

Big up to the Barnet Camp! I've been sending my son to the Barnet camp for around 4 years now. He absolutely loves it! There's a great variety of activities to take part in on a daily basis; the staff are warm, friendly and welcoming to all the children, and he really looks forward to the school holidays when he knows he's going to seeing his "friends" again.

Trusted my boys to the Ripley centre for around 9 years - never disappointed. Love the BX Plus opportunity they offer to older children - a great skills & confidence builder giving responsibility. My eldest even completed his volunteering there as part of his DofE training. The team really get to know the children and they are the most important people there - the feedback is great too. I always highly recommend Barracudas.

Criticisms
Other years I receive postal notifications before Christmas to advise of discounts for any bookings during that period for Easter and/or summer. However, because I never received it this Christmas, I ended up losing on big discounts, very disappointing seeing that I use you every year for both Easter and summer.

We were sorry Vikki didn’t receive our postal notification in November. We work hard to keep in touch with our customers to let them know about our updates, offers and deadlines. We communicate our offers, news and deadlines through email, postal mailings and telephone calls throughout the year to make sure our contacts are fully up to date. We did send letters out in November and are sorry this one didn’t get delivered!
5 stars. The only thing I don't like is difficult cancellation procedure-sometimes people need to cancel so cancellation without charge would be highly appreciated especially for regular customers. Everything else is 5 stars. Thank you

We offer a cost effective Customer Protection Plan for just £3 per child per day. Bookers can add this easily at the time of booking, or within 14 days of making a booking as long as there’s 10 working days until their children’s first day at camp. This secures bookings against cancellations and illnesses. You can find more information here.
Amazing!!! Absolutely fantastic from booking through to on the ground staff. My daughter loves it and it allows me to work during the holidays. I wish they would do July, half terms, Easter and Christmas as well where we are but the summer camp is fantastic.

We’re thrilled that parents want more of our holiday clubs! We operate our camps to coincide with the school holidays and agree the dates with our host schools based on their availability. We run 35 Easter camps and 46 summer camps in the UK and also have half term camps in Huntingdon. We continue to add new camps and new seasons based on local demand each year and the availability of school venues in the area with the high specification of facilities that we require.
As we reflect on parent feedback submitted from last years holiday clubs, we look forward to another successful year offering kids such an amazing time that they can’t wait to come back!
