When it comes to summer camps, Barracudas stands out by offering a whole range of additional options designed to cater to both parents' needs and children's interests. Our additional choices mean that every family can customize their camp experience for maximum enjoyment and convenience.
Extended hours for busy parents
Understanding the demands of modern schedules, Barracudas offer Early & Late Clubs, providing flexible drop-off and pick-up times from 8am to 6pm. These extended hours mean less stress for parents who have that early meeting, later appointment or longer commute.
For just £5 per session, whether you need Early Club (8 am - 9 am), Late Club (4:30 pm - 6 pm) or both, you'll be covered at Barracudas. The bonus is, this means even more fun for your child with a range of games and activities to keep them entertained at the beginning and end of the day.
*Standard hours are still great for working parents with drop off from 8.30am - 9.30am and pick up from 4.30pm - 5.30pm!
Additional protection for your booking
For just £4 a day, our Flex booking option adds a significant layer of protection and convenience to your booking. This feature allows parents to make changes or cancellations without the usual penalties, offering peace of mind in an unpredictable world.
Whether you need to adjust dates due to unforeseen circumstances or cancel altogether, Flex ensures that your investment in your child's summer fun is safeguarded.
Skills Builder courses
Barracudas recognizes that children have diverse interests and skills they want to develop. Skills Builder courses can be added full week or 3 day bookings, depending on the course. Sessions will take place each day, replacing one standard activity on the daily timetable.
We have courses to suite a whole range of interests; Dance Fusion, Discovery Squad, Motor Mania, Rocketeers (available at selected camps) and Swim School (only available at camps with pools). What a great way to develop with us this summer!
Fun specialist courses!
We have a host of options to suit a wide range of interests with our stand alone courses.
Our official football camps, run in partnership with the experts at Norwich City CSF, Palace for Life Foundation and West Ham United Foundation at selected camps, are perfect for young football enthusiasts looking to improve their skills under the guidance of professional coaches.
For the tech enthusiasts, we have a range of coding courses which will fire imaginations and develop skills and passions. These courses teach the basics of coding and software development in a fun and interactive way.
We also have a baking course available at our Welwyn camp, which will delight children who want to get creative with food. this course allows children to explore the joys of baking, from measuring ingredients to decorating their creations.
Overnight adventures
We offer 4 and 7 night away from home adventures at 2 sites, in partnership with the experts at PGL. 8-16 year olds will love growing independence and trying new things in the summer. These residential camps provide a unique blend of adventure and personal development.
Residential Camp Options:
4-Night Adventures: A shorter, yet thrilling experience packed with activities and bonding opportunities.
7-Night Adventures: A full week of immersive camp life, offering extensive opportunities for skill-building and making lifelong memories.
Additional memento of camp
All children will leave camp with lifelong memories of fun and friendships, but they also have the chance to leave with a physical memento of their time at Barracudas with our Camp Kit.
Whether they want the full kit, or a pick 'n mix, they'll love our bright design with options in blue or red.
We know how much children love our mascot, Billy Barracuda, he always brings additional fun and excitement at camp. Children can now have their own Mini Billy' with our brand new cuddly toy. He's loveable and completely unique, as is the Barracudas camp experience.
