We’ve reached the halfway point of our summer camps already! We say it every year, but it really does fly by (must be because we’re all having such an amazing time!)
With even more specialist sessions, sports activities, creative sessions and teamwork activities, children have had maximum fun throughout our camps.
We’ve had memorable experiences at every one of our 54 summer camps, but Huntingdon camp had a particularly exciting day when they were visited by Paralympic Archer, Mel Clarke!
This week we also had Ofsted inspections at a couple of camps. We’ll look forward to sharing the reports when they’re published.
Last week, children and staff enjoyed all things aquatic with our Marine Mayhem weekly theme. With fun twists on our popular activities and themed art sessions throughout the week and the main event of special celebrations with our Friday Finale.
We’re blinking the stardust out of our eyes this week with our Super Stars theme!
Bedford camp had a fantastic Friday Finale, celebrating our Marine Mayhem theme Molly Senior Sports Instructor organised a fun day with LOTS of variety and water themed activities.
There's a great atmosphere on Welwyn camp with Alisha leading a great team with lots of energy. We enjoyed some stand out arts and crafts session, the Minnows particularly enjoyed making their fish themed creations – well done fish!
Horsham camp is looking great and children are having a blast! Group and specialist activity staff are brilliant, running some wonderful sessions. Minnows motorsports and Barracudas basketball were particularly fun last week.
We’re loving the registration at Farnham camp; fun and bright which provides parents a good indication of how much fun children have with us during the day! We’ve enjoyed tonnes of exciting activities and a particular shout out to our amazing Dance and Drama instructor who led energetic sessions throughout the week.
Ware is having lots of fun. The older children are really developing with our BX+ course shadowing our staff with the younger group sessions - and we're all about developing and growing in the school holidays!
Last week children enjoyed developing their tech skills with MicroBit Coding at Cambridge St Faith’s, Minecraft at High Wycombe and Roblox at Letchworth.
We love sharing our moments from camp. Each day we chose our photo of the day. Last week Abingdon hit top spot on Monday with a lovely pic of children in the tent, Tuesday was children enjoying Build a Fort at Welwyn, Wednesday went to Billy Barracudas with girls at Chigwell camp, Hutton won on Thursday with children enjoying some weekly theme fun. We ended the week on a high with Pop Lacrosse at Ware.
As well as our photo of the day, we have another chance to showcase our top moments with session of the day. On Monday it was a Motor Sport at Ware, on Tuesday it had to be the visit from Kent Fire and Rescue at Tonbridge, Wednesday was children having a ball on the Water Park at Milton Keynes, Croydon nailed it on Thursday with Build a Fort creative play, Friday we chose Harpenden for their creations in explore and play!
Take a look on Facebook or Instagram for our photo and session of the day along with our fun camp albums!
We love sharing our on-camp moments and our TikToks' really give a behind the scenes view of summer camps. Last week we enjoyed being entertained by Twickenham St Catherine’s, Hutton, Bedford and Milton Keynes.

If TikTok’s not your thing, we also provide a glimpse of life on camp with our camp Instagram takeovers. Head over to Instagram to see what we got up to last week at Letchworth, Newbury, Romford, Tonbridge and Sevenoaks camps.
Our camp staff are the stars of the show, elevating the camp experience and leaving lasting impressions on children. Each week we select our standout member to celebrate. Last week Maisie at Chichester reached the dizzy heights of recognition with the Camp Manager saying....
“Maisie joined camp on Monday and had an unbelievable impact on the team and the children in the piranhas group! She has been vital in providing a positive, proactive and supportive role for a family of Spanish children who cannot speak any English using a key word lanyard and the iPad with google translate to ensure they have the most fun on camp! Their mother cannot stop praising how much she has done on every pick up and collection! Maisie has also brought a great positive vibe with her around camp! Fab start to Barracudas!”
This week we’re looking forward to our Super Stars weekly theme, specialist courses including Make a Code at Chigwell and Roblox at Barnet and Twickenham Waldegrave and our football camps run by the official coaches from Norwich City CSF at Huntingdon and Norwich and West Ham United Foundation at Harlow and Romford.
Keep an eye out on our social media channels for our photo of the day, session of the day and camp takeovers and TikToks throughout the week!
There's still chance to join us this summer!
