Another week of fun was had at our summer camps last week! With most camps in their final week now, we’re getting misty eyed at saying au revoir to our staff and kids.
Children are having a #summeroffun and are loving the wide variety of activities at camp, enjoying our fabulous indoor and outdoor facilities at our venues. Whether they’re cooling off in the pool or on the Water Park or aqua slide, racing on the motor sports track, honing their archery skills or bonding with their group on teambuilding activities, or letting their imaginations run wild in arts and crafts sessions, they’re living their best lives!
We’re loving seeing kids grow at camp with us this summer, keeping active, trying new things, developing skills and forming new friendships.
Children released their inner divas with last weeks Super Stars weekly theme. They enjoyed lots of activities tweaked to the theme and went big on our Friday Finale! This week we’re ramping up the tone with Crazy Colours!
Chislehurst camp has gone all out with our weekly theme; with fantastic artwork for the registration area created by groups and staff going full throttle with the Friday Finale fancy dress!
We’ve had a heap of fun at Chichester camp. Children are loving the wide variety of activities and swimming sessions were the standout choice last week.
We’re loving the displays at Ware summer camp! As well as getting creative, children enjoyed lots of energising sessions and the atmosphere at camp is flying.
Cobham camp is full of fun and kids have enjoyed cooling off on the aqua slide, getting completive with mini-Olympics and high energy dodgeball sessions and trying something new with the motor sports sessions.
Watford camp is running at pace. Registration is looking great, with all the contributions from the groups at camp. We’ve enjoyed lots of fun sessions and children are having a great time this summer.
There’s a lovely feel at our Huntingdon camp with strong bonds being formed between staff and children. Children really enjoyed the full range of activities on offer and we had very happy campers!
Harlow camp is going great guns! The energy and quality continues to impress. Children particularly enjoyed Circus Skills and Mini Olympics with staff participation and the younger group having a fantastic Billy Hunt too.
All our staff throughout our camps enjoyed a special treat of lunch on us as a thank you for all their hard work. This went down a storm and we loved seeing the range of lunches chosen at each camp. Thanks team, well deserved!
Last week children enjoyed developing their tech skills with Make a Code at Chigwell and Roblox at Barnet and Twickenham Waldegrave. Football fanatics also had a great opportunity with our football camps run by the official coaches from Norwich City CSF at Huntingdon and Norwich and West Ham United Foundation at Harlow and Romford.
We get some great photos of special moments at camp. Each day we select our favourite with our Photo of the day! On Monday Upminster smashed it with the Billy Hunt, Tuesday was a motor sports session at Bedford, Wednesday went to Norwich Langley Prep and their Badminton guitars, another motor sports session, this time at Milton Keynes, won on Thursday with children enjoying some weekly theme fun. Our final photo of the day this summer went to Hutton camp with a ball games group.
As well as our photo of the day, we have another chance to showcase our top moments with session of the day. On Monday it was a fencing at Romford, on Tuesday we picked a fab archery session at Ware, Wednesday was children enjoying some foam fun at Winchester, Wokingham hit the spot on Thursday with a fun arts and crafts session, Friday Romford camp won with another creative session.
Take a look on Facebook or Instagram for our photo and session of the day along with our fun camp albums!
We love sharing our on-camp moments and our TikToks really give a behind the scenes view of summer camps. Last week we enjoyed being entertained by Ware, Bishop’s Stortford and Bedford.

If TikTok’s not your thing, we also provide a glimpse of life on camp with our camp Instagram takeovers. Head over to Instagram to see what we got up to last week at Ely, Horsham, Woodford, Milton Keynes and Bishop’s Stortford.
We value our amazing seasonal staff who bring all the energy, imagination and care to camp every day. Each week we select our stand out member who brings additional sparkle. Last week we chose Alice from Milton Keynes. This is what the camp manager had to say about Alice:
“She is very hard working, stayed late pretty much every day during these 3 weeks to help anyone out if they needed help with kids or packing up. Alice is great at communicating with staff about things that people may need to know throughout the day or about how her session went with kids to the group leader to keep everyone informed. She is such a valuable member of the team, always bringing her contagious laugh wherever she goes and never seems stressed even in a manic situation. She is very well organised, always on top of her daily tasks at the beginning of the day and in n outs of arrows and pegs and gets the morning set up and afternoon pack down done very quickly. She certainly puts her all into each session let alone the past 3 weeks. She very much deserves staff member of the week.”
Congratulations, Alice – and a big thank you to all our team who build lasting memories for children in the summer holidays.
This week we’re looking forward to our Crazy Colours weekly theme, specialist courses including AI Learning at Streatham & Clapham and Watford, Minecraft at Woodford, Norwich CSF football camp at Bedford and Cambridge and West Ham United Foundation football camp at Chelmsford and Upminster.
