What did parents think of us this summer?!

Another summer has flown by in the blink of an eye, and what a busy one it’s been at our Barracudas summer camps!

With our 33rd summer now behind us, we’re taking a moment to reflect and assess how we performed this year.

Our team works tirelessly all year to ensure we’re delivering on our promise to “give every child such an amazing experience they can’t wait to come back!” To make sure we’re hitting that target, we ask parents to complete a short survey after each camp season. Their feedback helps us continue improving on what’s working and fine-tuning anything that could be better.

This summer, we received over 1,200 survey submissions. We’re incredibly grateful to every parent who took the time to share their experience and help us understand how we’re doing.

Our mission is to ensure kids have an amazing time during the school break, while also helping parents find reliable childcare during the long summer months. Here are the top reasons parents chose to book with us this year:

First impressions

First impressions matter, and they set the tone for the entire camp experience. Since our camps are all about kids, we make sure our registration process is welcoming, vibrant, and professional, giving parents a glimpse of the positive environment their children will enjoy. This summer, 96% of parents had a great first impression of Barracudas.

Activity selection

At Barracudas, we pride ourselves on offering a wide variety of activities to cater to every interest. Kids get to choose their activities each session, allowing them to create their ideal day at camp. With our ACTIVE motto, we balance creativity, sports, and social fun to ensure every child finds something they love. This summer, 95% of parents rated our activity offerings highly.

Facilities

We’re selective about our camp locations, choosing only the best schools with top-notch facilities. We also ensure we have full access to the entire site to offer the widest range of activities in a comfortable, safe setting. This year, 97% of parents were highly impressed with the facilities at our camps.

Camp staff

Social interaction plays a huge role in the Barracudas experience, and our camp staff have a big impact on how much kids enjoy their time with us. We’re proud of our rigorous hiring and training processes that ensure we have the best, most enthusiastic leaders caring for our campers. This summer, 94% of parents were impressed with our staff.

Likelihood of booking again

Customer loyalty means the world to us. We want our bookers to have such a fantastic experience that they’re eager to return. We’re thrilled that 95% of our summer bookers are likely to join us again next year, showing us we’re hitting the mark in delivering unforgettable experiences.
