Barracudas continually aims to deliver fun. From the time they arrive, to the moment they’re collected, children are offered an unrivalled range of activities and always a choice. This puts them in control of their day and leaving having taken part in activities that appeal to them. Holiday clubs are all about new, fun and exciting activities. Whatever your child is into, there'll always be something at camp to enjoy. 92% of parents thought the activities at Barracudas were excellent or good this summer.
It’s all well and good having a great range of activities, if our venues don’t have the facilities we can’t deliver our promises. Our locations are chosen for the numerous spaces and quality activity areas. Barracudas has great relationships with our host schools and we’re lucky to have the use of all key areas during summer camp. 93% of our bookers were pleased as punch with what was available at their local camp.
As well as thrilling children, we know we also need to consider their parents. We know how busy school holiday morning are, especially for parents who are travelling to the office, or meeting appointments. 92% of our summer survey respondents found their location to be really convenient.
The relationships children build with staff is a significant part of their holiday club experience. Barracudas has discerning requirements and robust training in place so you know your child will be in safe hands. We also seek out positive and enthusiastic individuals who will leave great lasting impressions. 91% of parents had really positive feedback of our staff this summer.
In 2021 Barracudas introduced contactless registration and collection at camp. Necessity is the mother of invention. Whilst this was driven by a need minimise risk during the pandemic, it’s proved to be a great advantage for parents. Parents check their children in and out of camp with a unique QR code delivered directly with their booking confirmation and also available on our parent app. We were delighted that 92% of our bookers rated this excellent or good.
We're really pleased that 72% of parents said they had downloaded new parent app too. With continued developments this year to provide even more useful information and updates, this really helps to improve the customer experience.
We asked our parents how likely they would be to recommend us to a friend, on a scale of 1-10. We were thrilled that the average score was 8.5. This is reflected in how popular our Recommend a Friend scheme is!
