Pleased to announce the total raised for GOSH in 2019
Each year Barracudas raises money across our camps to make a difference for amazing charities.
This year we applied our unique fundraising ideas to support Great Ormond Street Hospital. Following its success in 2018, once again we rolled out ‘What’s in the Welly’ across our activity camps.
Children had the chance to vote for the staff member they’d like to see plunge their feet into wellies filled with an indiscernible gooey concoction. The person with the most votes at the end of the week had the pleasure of popping on the wellies and doing a number of activities whilst wearing them!
We’re pleased to announce that during our 2019 seasons at camp we were able to raise £1,973.27 for the charity!
The kids loved seeing our staff brave the goo and this was an anticipated event at the end of each week. So much fun was had whilst raising vital funds to help make a difference for this charity which does amazing things supporting families through very difficult times.
We just want to say a big thank you to all of those who took part in wearing the wellies and for the parents who donated!
We can’t wait for the fundraising to begin again next year.
