Welcome to our latest blog series, "Meet the Head Office Team," where we take you behind the scenes to introduce the incredible individuals who drive the success of Barracudas Camps.
This week, we're excited to shine a spotlight on our Head Office School Partnerships team.
What's your role at Barracudas?
Sarah: My role is within the Schools Partnership’s Team, selecting and confirming new venues. I have worked with Barracudas since 1999, 25 years!
Trish: I liaise with host schools to plan for our arrival ahead of each camp and support staff at camp during the season. I also prepare some of the resources which are used at camp. I have worked at Barracudas since January 2022.
What does the schools partnership team do?
We build partnerships with the host schools, understanding what they need so the Barracudas camp experience is as great for them as the children who attend. One of our schools has been with us for 30 years this year! We also tour many potential schools to find those special ones that have amazing facilities in densely populated areas where the camps will flourish and provide a professional and fun childcare option for local families in the school holidays.
What do you enjoy most about working for Barracudas?
Sarah: Touring an incredible school, having a vision of how great the camp could be and then seeing the camp in action with many children having such an amazing experience with us.
Trish: I love working with the point of contact at each of our host schools to ensure camp runs as smoothly as possible.
Describe in 3 words why you love working for Barracudas?
Sarah: We make memories!
Trish: Fun, Engaging, Creative!
Join us next week to meet the Head Office, Business Team!
