Barracudas is committed to reducing our impact on the environment.
We’re working hard across the board to find ways to become more sustainable.
Our inter departmental working party is in place to discover opportunities to become a more eco-friendly activity camp. We’re investing in processes and technologies to become a sustainable childcare provider.
Motivated by our eco ambitions, we have made a significant investment in new electric vehicles for our motor sports sessions.
Investing in the future
This year we invested heavily in brand new electric vehicles to replace our fuel versions for every camp. With 45 summer camps, that’s a lot of metal!
We’ve made this big financial commitment as part of our genuine aim to be kinder to the environment and help to protect the planet for the future of our children – and future generations.
We know how much children enjoy our motorsports sessions. We also realise that whilst they love this activity, the planet’s not so keen. That’s why we put our money where our mouth is and bought a whole fleet of more eco-friendly vehicles.
We introduced the new equipment at camp this Easter and kids loved them. We’re super excited to give them a spin again this summer.

An amazing experience for kids
It’s always been our aim to provide such an amazing experience for every child that they can’t wait to come back. We're committed to offering the best experience at every camp, for every child.
This means we need to be top of the game with the activities we provide. With over 80 different options ranging from team sports and water activities to creative sessions, we can offer a choice that each child will love, no matter what they’re into.
On top of that we also run a number of specialist activities that kids can get the chance to try when they’re with us. Kids go wild for our fencing, archery and motor sports sessions in the Easter and summer holidays.
We're thrilled to have upgraded our equipment to provide a more sustainable activity we know they can't wait to try. Kids love the chance to race round the track and pick up key life skills in these sessions. We love that we can continue to offer motor sports with less damage to the environment.
