Foreign travel not certain. Trust a staycation
The trouble with travel
Have you seen the recent news that holiday prices are set to jump this year? Costs for international travel are predicted to rocket because of ‘pent up demand’ according to this report from the BBC.
Holiday prices are already increasing and it looks like they’re going to go up steadily as, despite the demand, airlines aren’t looking to lay on more flights to popular destinations.
Not only this, but there’s a lot of confusion and lack of clarity about different countries having different programmes for recognising vaccine and testing statuses. Whilst we may be free to leave the UK to visit ‘green list’ countries, those countries themselves may not accept UK travellers.
Given all the current confusion, one online travel agent, On the Beach, has just announced that they’ll not be selling holidays for June, July or August due to the uncertainty.
With only 12 countries currently on the green list and the government advising only essential travel to amber destinations (with travellers having to take a covid test before travel and self-isolate for 10 days on return), staying at home seems the best bet this year.

It may be safe and steady but there’s a lot of fun to be had with a staycation! Not only can you avoid the headache of changing international travel policies, both from the British and foreign governments, but also remove the anxiety of health concerns.

These can be added to any week long booking and they’ll get to take part in a series of progressional sessions each day. For one session every day, they’ll join their group to take part in the course and will build up their ability and knowledge throughout the week.
From Motor Mania to Dance Fusion with Lab Rats and Swim School in between, they’ll come away from camp with new life skills and passions.
Football Fanatics, fill your boots!
Not only do we have all this available but at certain camps we have specialist football courses this year.
This is a great opportunity for football fanatics to train with the professionals! They’ll not only hone their skills and techniques but also progress character and general development with a mix of practical sessions and workshops.
Over the week-long course, kids will get to immerse themselves in the world of football with a carefully planned structure led by Palace for Life Foundation and West Ham United Foundation coaches all within the trusted Barracudas framework.
