At Barracudas we really do understand what it means to be a working parent. Why? Well, because many of our team have children themselves and are well used to the headache at the beginning of the calendar year when we have to sit down and work out what we’re going to do with the kids for each of the school holidays.
The first option is to use most of the annual holiday entitlement whilst trying to preserve a week or two for a family holiday when we can all be together. Then there are the grandparents who are only too happy to help out and although it’s a good option for a day or two here or there, we know a full week of childcare might just take its toll on the grandparents and the kids! Of course, there’s also a bit of sharing of the childcare with friends too but when you want to drop them off at 8am and pick up at 6pm it takes a good friend to oblige.
So we really do understand the problem and that’s why we believe in what we do! We know that we offer a vital service for parents and it’s so much more than ‘childcare’.
For parents we offer . . .
For children, it’s all about . . .
But don’t just take our word for it! We’ve had more than 580 parents review our service and you can find all of these reviews on Trustpilot, a transparent and independent source, sharing the experiences of the people that matter – parents, like you.
In fact, parents, like Nicky Frost, who have been using Barracudas for years because of the peace of mind it gives her and the fun it offers her son.
“My son has been going to Barracudas since he was 4 and a half. He absolutely loves going and taking part in such a wide range of activities. Come rain or shine, the mixture of indoor and outdoor sessions keep him fit and active and he loves the creative activities too. Knowing he's at Barracudas whilst I am working, gives me peace of mind as it's both safe and fun!”
Then there’s Maria Stevenson, a single parent from Salisbury, who rated Barracudas ‘5 stars from me and my child’ saying:
“Excellent in every way. I was probably more nervous dropping my child off then she was. She waved me off as she disappeared with her key worker. I rushed from work to collect her and she had the biggest smile on her face, she couldn’t stop raving about how much fun she had and couldn’t wait to go back the next day. The next 3 weeks of Barracudas were a stressless breeze – makes working and school holidays a lot less daunting. Especially for a single parent :) and actually more reasonably priced than our previous holiday care childminder.“
Not only that, but all all our camps are Ofsted registered and Barracudas has more Outstanding ratings than any comparable provider, which means you can be sure your child is in the very best of hands at Barracudas Activity Day Camps!
