Barracudas Easter holiday clubs are in full swing, and the kids are having a great time at camp! With over 80 activities to choose from, the children are enjoying an unrivalled range of fun and engaging experiences that help them develop new skills, make new friends, and build confidence.
From arts and crafts to sports and games, Barracudas Easter holiday clubs have something for everyone. Some of the most popular activities this week include archery, swimming, teambuilding and Yoga. Children love being given a choice for each of the daily sessions, allowing them to pick activities they enjoy or try something new.
One of the standout moments at camp this week was our Senior Sports Instructor, Iago, leading a pirates dance fusion session in Brighton. He directed the group as they marched around the ship, climbed the rigging and... OH NO the shark attack!! It was hilarious and the group were giggling the whole time (not when in pirate mode of course!).
We’ve enjoyed lots of field sports at many of camps, making the best of the good weather this week. Children have loved getting outdoors and developing team building skills as well as enjoying a dose of healthy competition.
Each week at Barracudas Easter holiday clubs has a different theme, and this week it was 'Future Me!’. Children were exploring ideas of what they may want to be when they grow up. Throughout the week they enjoyed some activities tweaked to the theme and created a fun camp-wide Big Art project. What more, there’s been so much fun with our end of week Finale event. Kids are really enjoying something special and unique each day with our weekly themes.
One of the most exciting parts of camp is the photo of the day. Each day, one child is chosen to be the subject of a special photo that captures their experience at camp. The photos are posted on the Barracudas Easter holiday clubs social media pages, and the children love seeing themselves featured. Here’s our photos of the day from this week:
At the end of each day, the camp staff choose a session that stood out as particularly fun or engaging. We pick our favourite Session of the Day and share on our social media accounts. It's a great way to celebrate the children's achievements and to encourage them to continue trying new things.

We like to invite our camps to take over our Instagram account for the day and show us all the great things they’re getting up to. The ‘W’ camp locations have it in the bag with Wokingham on Tuesday, Welwyn on Wednesday and Ware on Thursday. Here’s a snapshot of what they got up to. We care about our bookers experiences and it’s great to hear positive feedback from our parents. This means we’re delivering on our promises and providing amazing experiences in the school holidays. What parents have said about us so far this Easter:
"Great first experience at a camp in Salisbury for my 5yr old son. A smooth check-in and a happy energised little man at pick up. Will be joining again in the future!" Eleni
"My children have so much fun at woking barracudas, the staff there are always great, the camp manager shannon is always great with the children when they are anxious about coming in in the morning." Will
"My daughter loves Barracudas in Woking, a huge choice of activities that make me wish I didn’t have to go to work! My daughter always comes out with lots of enthusiasm and wanting to return. The team who look after the children are all super friendly. Katie at Woking is particularly brilliant with my daughter." Kris

At Barracudas school holiday camps, we offer a range of specialist courses that allow children to explore their interests and develop new skills. Children have enjoyed 2 fantastic courses this week:
Kids have loved this fantastic 3-day course Children built robotic Lego models controlled through code, such as a vehicle, theme park ride, and a dancing robot. They loved learning coding techniques, developing new skills, and meeting new friends.
Based at our camp at Ridgeway Academy, children created some delicious treats in Let's Bake! They made fun Easter-themed bakes, from chocolate hot cross buns to Easter bunny rolls. It was a great opportunity for them to develop their culinary skills while having fun.
We’ve had a great week at camp and look forward to even more fun and adventures next week.
A big thank you to all the amazing children and staff who’ve made it one to remember!
We still have some spaces left for next week. Join in the fun and book now!
