It’s been a great second Easter camp week for Barracudas. For some camps this is the final week for Easter and others have just opened. Across the board there’s been a lot of fun and we’re pleased to have enjoyed another amazing week.
Camps open this week
The teams were thrilled to be back with Barnet, Canterbury, Chislehurst, Cobham, Copthorne, Croydon, Farnham, Hayes, High Wycombe, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Twickenham St Catherine’s, Twickenham Waldegrave, Upminster, Welwyn, Woking, Wokingham and Woodford all opening their doors this week.
It’s been a great first week at these camps with the biggest smiles for miles!
Camp highlights of the week
Our camp team has loved creating experiences with your children this week. Here’s just a few of the magical moments we’ve had at camp:
Basketball has been a big hit at High Wycombe camp this week with both the Piranhas and Stingrays loving a bit of competition! Kids had a great time developing skills including dribbling, catching and shooting. All the children were really engaged and we were pleased to see everyone getting involved, even those who don’t usually gravitate toward sports. Well done, everyone!
Children chillaxed during the new Feel Good Yoga session at Wokingham this week. Starfish loved the session, enjoying challenging themselves in "Tree Pose", "Bow Pose" and "Cat". They learned the phrase "Namaste" to finish their session feeling calm and centred.
It’s been a positive week at Woking. Minnows and Starfish have really enjoyed some yoga and meditation. Barracudas have been really sporty this week, requesting as many different sports as possible for their timetable whilst Stingrays and swordfish have been loving the new drama sessions. Clay modelling has been a firm favourite across all the groups - how therapeutic!
It’s been a great start for Sevenoaks. They’ve really enjoyed this week’s theme; Minnows helped the Rainbow Fish to get his colourful scales back in the explore and play session. Starfish were helped by our Early Years Manager, Sophie, to mix various colours to see which combinations looked best. They’ve produced an exciting timetable for the kids to enjoy a fun mix of Dance, Drama, Sport and Art culminating in each group having a talent show on Friday.
Watford camp reports a really supportive atmosphere at camp this week. All the children have shown kindness and empathy throughout the week. This is great to see and it’s been a joy to welcome all children to camp over the last 2 weeks. Watford camp is really going out with a bang!
Parent reviews
We’re chuffed to bits to hear all the positive feedback from happy parents and children this week. From conversations with parents at camp and through phone calls and emails in the Head Office to all the positive reactions from the children. We really are touched by what you’ve had to say.
Not only that but we’ve had 12 more 5 star reviews on Trustpilot this week, that's 22 and counting for Easter 2021. We love to hear that your children are having such an amazing experience and we’re delivering on your expectations too. A big thank you for taking the time out to rate us!
Camps closing this week
We’ve had bags of fun at our Easter camps and whilst some are looking forward to another week, we’ll be closing our doors on Bedford, Bishop’s Stortford, Cambridge Long Road, Chelmsford, Chigwell, Copthorne, Harlow, Hemel Hempstead, Hertford, Huntingdon, Hutton, Norwich, St Albans, Streatham & Clapham, Twickenham St Catherines, Watford and Welwyn.
