Easter 2021 customer feedback
We were delighted to be able to operate this Easter! It’s been a tough time and we were itching to get back to do what we're here for - entertaining kids and making memories in the school holidays.
We had a great time this Easter and were pleased to come back bigger than ever. Now’s the time to reflect on the season and look ahead to summer.
We genuinely care about the experience children and parents have at our camps. After each season we invite bookers to complete our survey so we can build on what we do well and work on any areas that might need improving.
Once again, we got a great response from our Easter bookers, with almost 1.5k people completing our survey. We’re happy to share the result with you here:
First Impressions
What were parents first impressions of Barracudas?
That’s a massive 95% confirming their first impressions were good or excellent!
Activities
What did parents think of Barracudas activities?
We’re chuffed that 98% of parents were happy with the activities on offer, especially as we had certain restrictions due to COVID-19!
Registration procedures
We launched our contactless registration and collection procedures this Easter. Checking in with QR codes meant we could limit contact as well as reduce paperwork.
Over 90% of our bookers rated this experience excellent or good which is a great starting point!
Parent app
We also a handy parent app this Easter, offering easy check in with access to the QR code and offering handy information such as booking details, directions to camp and useful pre-camp check lists.
73% of our parents downloaded the app this Easter.
96% of those who downloaded the app were happy with how this worked. We’re working on improving this ahead of summer.
Staff
What do parents think of Barracudas staff?
As childcare providers, we know it’s essential to have excellent staff to look after your children at our activity camps. Over 95% of parents confirmed that our team this year were above average.
Recommendation
Would parents recommend Barracudas?
We know the best promotion is personal recommendation. We’re really pleased that over 91% of bookers were likely to suggest their friends and family use us too!

"Good staff, caring to the children and have so much patience with the parents too. They keep the children entertained. My daughter loves coming to the club. We have already booked our summer space."
"Very very impressed! My daughter had a fantastic time. Really well organised. I loved seeing the activities board before the children went off for the day. Much better than Supercamps which we have been to previously."
"Well organised activity schedule. My child returned home on a daily basis excited about returning the next day. He made lots of friends and cannot wait for summer camp."
"My son loves coming to barracudas he gets to try new activities and sports that he may have never tried before. He always has a brilliant time so I will continue to send him. The staff are fab, polite, welcoming and energetic."
"Both of my children loved the camp (7 & 11 year old). Our family welcomes outdoor activity and its a great way of getting children away from TV and gadgets especially for those parents in full time employment. Recommended to all our family & friends and will be coming back again."
We’re looking positively ahead to a summer of fun at Barracudas! A great Easter is paving the way for an amazing summer.
We’re working hard to build on the positive response we’ve had and work on area’s we’ve identified as having scope for improvement.
Thanks to all the feedback we’ve had throughout the season - from our survey to ad hoc feedback throughout camp. This is vital information for us to help us continue to elevate our offering and deliver the UK’s number 1 activity camp.
