Summer of FUN

19th - 23rd July

What an amazing start we’ve had with the first of our summer camps opening this week!

Firstly, it can’t go unnoticed that it’s been the hottest week this year and we’ve loved all having all our water activities to cool us down at Barracudas summer camps.

We’ve loved our first week and so have all the children who’ve joined us. Just take a look at all the fun we’ve had so far:

Twickenham St Catherine’s

We've had lots of (safe) fun in the sun at Twickenham St Catherine's camp! Our Camp Manager, Sean, has said it’s been an amazing first week. The sun has been blazing all week and all the children (and staff) have been safely enjoying it. Kids have loved zooming down the aqua slide and having a great time playing lots of different sports on the field. Everyone has been drinking plenty of water and taking breaks in the shade!

A particular mention goes to our staff member, Isabella, who has been leading some amazing dance and drama sessions all week. She’s also shown great customer service and support to parents during registration and collection and has also supported her colleagues in sessions. Showing many of Barracudas core values including professionalism and teamwork!

Copthorne

Everyone’s had a great week at Copthorne and has said the weather is making the whole camp smile!

The fun hasn’t stopped at Copthorne camp this week, with children enjoying a wide range of Barracudas activities including motor sports, arts and crafts, field games, table tennis and drama. The favourite activity so far is aqua slide, this has obviously been particularly popular with the current glorious sunshine we are having.

Billy has also visited the children who were delighted to see him!

Our Camp Manager, Steph, has said she cannot praise our enthusiastic camp staff enough for creating a great atmosphere on camp and are making this a summer to remember!

A particular shout out to the Early Years Manager, Alice, who has supported these groups excellently and is always thinking of new ways to improve the transition time for the younger ones to give them maximum activity time.

Streatham & Clapham

Our first 5 star Trustpilot review this year has come from our Streatham and Clapham camp. We really value the ratings and feedback our parents take the time to leave us. Delighted to be off to such a great start already. Well done to our Streatham and Clapham camp team for delivering the amazing experience we always aim for.

Phew! That’s more fun than you can shake a stick at, and we’ve only just started. With another 36 camps opening up next week, there’s so much more to come.
