Additional options at camp

Barracudas school holiday activity camps are all about choice.

Choice comes as standard at our summer camps. With hours to suit your working day from 8.30am - 5.30pm, 80+ activities and a choice for each of the 6 daily sessions.

We know that everyone’s different, though, and also offer extra options you can add to your booking.

Early and Late Clubs

We’ve got a solution for parents and guardians facing a long commute who can’t get their kids to one of our summer holiday camps and make it to work on time – or make it back for the 5.30pm pick-up.

As an additional service at our UK school holiday camps, we run Early and Late Clubs. They give you that crucial extra half-hour at either end of the day – while the kids get to spend more time on fun activities with their friends.

Our Early and Late Clubs offer more flexibility. Early club opens at 8am and Late Club pick up is 6pm. These extended hours are there to suit you. You can book what you need on the days you need them.

Kids are taken straight from Early Club to their first fun activity session, so it is a full hour of additional fun. After the last activity session of the day, at 4.30pm, children will be taken to directly to Late Club for extra fun at the end of the day.

They’ll be heading into the gym to play games and sports or going to one of our activity areas to try out something crafty. Working young people’s bodies and minds is a trademark of the childcare we provide.

Early and Late Clubs are not free, it’s an additional £4 for each morning or afternoon session. They give you flexibility and the confidence that your child is safe, being looked after and having a good time.

That’s maximum fun for kids and peace of mind for you!

Flex booking option

We understand that your holiday and childcare plans can change right up until the last minute and that’s why we offer our Flex booking option.

If you want complete flexibility to change your booking, our Flex option is for you. For just £4 per day, our Flex option means you can amend your booking right up to the last working day before your child is due to attend in any given week. Plus, Flex allows for amendments or a refund to be made if your child is ill and cannot attend.

If you book our Flex option you can change your dates or cancel right up until the last working day before your child’s first day at camp in the week. Plus, if your child is ill and can’t attend, we’ll make up the days or refund you, your choice.

If your plans are more fixed, our Non-Flex booking option is also available to you. Once you've confirmed your booking with the deposit payment, your place is secure at Barracudas. We aim to be as supportive to our customers as we possibly can be. With our Non-Flex option, you can still make changes to your booking up to 21 days before your booking starts. This booking option is non-refundable.

Skills Builders

One of the goals of our school holiday camps is to help your child develop new skills and interests that boost their confidence and help build them into well-rounded individuals.

We offer additional courses for kids of all age groups who attend a full week during summer camp for an additional fee.

There are 5 progressive sessions in each course. Each day children will take part in their Skills Builder course in place of a standard session at camp.

We can promise they’ll have fun learning and develop new passions on our Skill Builder Courses. On offer this year is:

• Motor Mania
• Lab Rats
• Dance Fusion
• Beginners Swim School

We also have full week football camp courses at several locations. We launched these in 2021 and kids loved learning from the professionals and developing their techniques.

If you’re interested in signing your child up to one of our skill builder courses, you can do this at the time of booking online. If you’ve already made your booking, just call us on 01480 467567 to add this additional course for your child.

Camp kit

Each year we produce a new design for our fun Barracudas camp kit.

Our new design for 2022 is proving popular and we've loved seeing kids enjoy wearing this at our Easter camps this year. You can select either red or blue designs, depending on their preference.

T-Shirts come in sizes 4-6 years, 7-8 years and 9-11 years.

Just add them to your Barracudas booking and we'll send them to you directly in the post!

Barracudas camp kit is completely optional and not required for kids to join us in the school holidays.

Our additional options are carefully thought out with you in mind. Whether you add them or not, they'll have an amazing time at our activity day camps.
