Barracudas ran 7 February camps this year, offering lots of fun in the Feb half term holidays.
We were pleased to be able to entertain even more children, making life long memories.
Barracudas added to the fun with our first Friday Finale and weekly theme of the year. Building the theme of Fantastic Festivals onto camp, by tweaking some of our popular activities to offering specific arts and crafts sessions, kids loved getting involved – and so did our staff!
We're grateful to our bookers who completed our survey to help us review our performance. We'd like to share the results with you here:
Insights: February camp parent survey results
Reasons for booking February camp
The foundation of any successful camp experience lies in understanding why parents choose our programs for their children. The survey results revealed that the top reason for booking our camp was due to our bookers being working parents. Our camps mean that children are safe and entertained when schools are out and parents are working.
Online booking experience
The digital realm has become integral to modern life, and our online booking experience was scrutinized by discerning parents. The majority expressed satisfaction with the online booking experience this February, with 98% of respondents confirming this was excellent or good.
Contactless check-In
In a world increasingly valuing convenience and safety, our commitment to a seamless and contactless check-in process received positive feedback. Parents appreciated the efficiency and ease of the check-in system, with 96% of parents happy to have a stress-free start to their child's camp adventure.
Quality staff
A big part of the camp experience is the relationship our children and parents build up with our staff. We have a thorough recruitment process, with all staff requiring an enhanced DBS check and completion of our assessment programme. 92% of our February survey respondents rated our staff either excellent or good.
Activities
Barracudas continually aims to deliver fun. From the time they arrive, to the moment they’re collected, children are offered an unrivalled range of activities and always a choice. This puts them in control of their day and leaving having taken part in activities that appeal to them. Holiday clubs are all about new, fun and exciting activities. Whatever your child is into, there'll always be something at camp to enjoy. 91% of parents thought the activities at Barracudas were excellent or good this Feb half term.
Likelihood to book again
Perhaps one of the most crucial indicators of satisfaction is the likelihood of parents to book again. The survey revealed a 98% of parents expressed a strong inclination to enrol their children in future camps, showcasing a vote of confidence in our programs.
Net Promoter Score (NPS)
The Net Promoter Score, a widely recognized metric for customer loyalty, reflected positively in the survey results. A substantial majority of parents indicated a high likelihood of recommending our camp to friends and family, reinforcing our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences. We were delighted to have a score of 69 (it’s considered that above 0 is good, above 20 is great and above 50 is amazing).
Recommendation
We were delighted to have received some really positive independent reviews on Trustpilot. Now with over 1.4k reviews and an excellent rating, we're proud to delivering on our promises. All feedback is valuable to us, so we can build on the things we're doing well and work on any areas that may need improving.
We'd like to thank all the parents who booked with us this February half term and, of course, all the children who made it another one to remember!
