Business Team Office Administrator
Hours
Hours: Monday to Friday. 9am – 4pm. Approximately 32.5 hours a week

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Within the Business Team we cover areas such as HR, People, Payroll, Insurance, Legal, Health & Safety, Premises, Vehicles and IT. The team also provide general support function to the wider Barracudas team.
The new recruit will support the team with general administrative tasks but will have their own area of responsibility as shown below.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES – IT, EQUIPMENT AND PEOPLE/WELLBEING
Responsible for all office IT equipment – e.g. laptops, Franking Machine, Printers, Scanner, Landlines. Liaising with suppliers and maintaining strong relationships with them.
Responsible for all Camp IT equipment – e.g. Camp mobile phones, Tablets and Laptops. Ensuring these are kept up to date, cleared, checked and ready to go out to camps each season and then responsible for them on their return. Stock counts, security updates and purchasing new kit is all part of this role.
Responsible for the IT equipment within our Server Room, ensuring this area is kept tidy and well stocked for the office needs. Keeping all records up-to-date, cyber security, passwords etc.
Office 365 / SharePoint – ensuring company files are organised, secure and we are making best use of 365 features.
Responsible for producing our monthly Staff Newsletter and general People tasks to promote good wellbeing within the company.
Ad hoc seasonal tasks such as camp scanning and accident analysis.
General office support to the Business Team.
As we are a seasonal business, in the lead up and during the holiday season, you will be expected to take on additional tasks, full training will be given.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
At least 1 year’s office experience
Be computer literate with good working knowledge in Microsoft applications
Able to demonstrate careful attention to detail and accuracy
Good organisational, communication and time management skills
Ability to prioritise
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
Health & Safety knowledge
Interest in IT hardware
Interest in IT infrastructure
Creative skills using PowerPoint and Canva
Mental Health First Aider (but full training can be given)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Barracudas Activity Day Camps is the UK’s favourite for holiday childcare, we are looking for an enthusiastic, driven individual who is highly motivated and wants to join a growing company.
We are looking for a temporary sales and customer service administrator to help with administrative tasks, using telephone and email as the main methods of communication alongside our database.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer incoming sales and customer service calls, acting as the first point of contact
Taking bookings directly from our customers or assigning bookings received through partnership companies on our inhouse booking system
Helping customers throughout their journey with Barracudas, from taking the initial booking through to their child’s last day at camp
Confidently communicate with customers through, telephone, email, SMS, and chat services
Accurately updating and amending bookings and customer details relating to our policies and procedures
Upsell promotions and offers to customers
Following up customer leads and making outbound calls to previous customers
General admin relating to customers bookings and the operation of activity camps
Investigate and resolve customer feedback/queries
Liaise with camp staff regarding customer questions, queries and bookings
Carry out ad-hoc duties as required

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute to the sharing of good practice and knowledge amongst colleagues as required
Be compliant with staff policies and procedures
Provide support for other colleagues when necessary

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Professional telephone manner
Ability to communicate effectively with customers both verbally and in writing
Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure
Able to demonstrate careful attention to detail
Good ICT skills including use of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
Health & Safety knowledge
A qualification in a relevant subject i.g. NVQ or certificate
Experience working in a customer focused environment
Experience using a database
