Summer activities on offer for kids in Harpenden

A range of summer activities are being laid on for kids in Harpenden over the school holidays.

According to an article in Harpenden People, children aged between five and 16 will be able to participate in cricket-themed activities at the Andrew Flintoff Academy from Monday July 26th to Friday July 30th.

Youngsters may like to go for a dip in the local leisure centre, where a number of swimming crash courses are on offer.

Kids who want to be the next Andy Murray can attend summer coaching sessions at Harpenden Lawn Tennis Club.

And if the whole family wants to try new activities together then Camp Green will be holding a number of outdoor exercise sessions in Rothamsted Park.

Earlier this week, a survey by moneysupermaket.com revealed parents will spend around £330 on activities for their offspring over the summer holidays.

Of those quizzed, 83 per cent admitted they will use money-off coupons and discount vouchers to help with the cost of days out.
