Range of activities laid on for kids in Devon

A range of activities are being laid on for kids in Devon to celebrate the Fifa World Cup.

Staff members at the Budgens shop in Brixington are holding a number of football-related activities to coincide with the tournament, Devon 24 reports.

Children in the area can visit the outlet before every England Game and participate in a number of pastimes, including getting their face painted.

Owner of Budgens David Calland recently gave the Brixington School Association a table football game, which they used to raise cash in their annual summer fair.

He stated: "Parents of the school support the shop, so I thought I would return the favour."

Mr Calland also added he was pleased to help the school out.

More than 100 kids attended the first event last Saturday (June 12th) when England played the US in the first round.

England are in action again tomorrow (June 18th) when they take on Algeria.
