Summary: Parents keen to take their offspring on days out may want to consider a trip to the New Forest, as a range of activities for children are on offer.

A huge range of activities for kids are on offer this summer in the National Forest.
There are a number of cycle routes that parents and their kids can go on, along with a range of different paths designated for walkers.
Media relations officer at the National Forest Carol Rowntree-Jones remarked: "Conkers is one of the main attractions where there are lots of events going on."
She added youngsters can try a range of activities, including pond dipping, going out with the rangers and playing sports, as well as mini beast hunting.
Ms Rowntree-Jones also noted children can participate in pastimes with a more natural theme like butterflies on sticks.
Mums and dads who want to plan a trip to the National Forest may read the oragnisation's newsletter, which features a whole host of information and ideas for days out.
The publication suggests visitors explore the forest onboard an open-top bus or watch the steam whistle at Claymills Victorian Pumping Station.
