Range of activities for kids in Hertsmere
Published on 03-06-2010
Summary: Children across Hertsmere have the chance to try a range of activities, including cricket and football.

A range of activities are being laid on for youngsters across Hertsmere to keep them busy during the half-term holidays.
The activities are for those aged between five and 19 years old.
A council spokesperson remarked: "All of the activities are free so those taking part can do what they want to - rather than being told what has been planned out every step of the way."
Play rangers - people work in parks and open spaces to ensure kids have access to play opportunities that are safe and challenging - will also be present at a number of locations, including the Moatfield, Millbrook Road and Windmill Road.
Creative youngsters will be able to try their hand at arts and crafts and energetic kids can try new activities such as cricket or football.
The sports are also open to children under the age of eight, but they must be accompanied by an adult.
