Summary: A childhood expert has recommend parents spend more time with their youngsters doing activities that do not break the bank.

Parents can still spend time with their children trying new activities that do not cost money, one expert has suggested.
Polly Beard said guidelines suggest kids need an hour of exercise every day and she noted mums and dads can do activities with their children to meet the recommended daily allowance.
She added that National Family Week (May 31st to June 6th) is the ideal time for families to spend time together as plenty of activities are being laid on across the country.
Ms Beard remarked: "It's about the celebration of family life really."
The specialist also explained that energetic youngsters can even attempt a Guinness World Record by participating in the biggest nationwide three-legged race.
Parents may benefit from spending more quality time with their offspring as, according to a study by the Children's Society, kids' wellbeing is influenced by levels of conflict among a family rather than its actual structure.
