Activities for children on offer at country park
Published on 30-04-2010
Summary: A range of activities is being laid on for kids and families at a country park.

Arts and craft stalls, bouncy castles and face-painting are just some of the activities for children on offer at Loggerheads this bank holiday weekend.
The fun day is part of the Trinity Fammau Scout Group's annual fundraising event, which will also feature a duck race, the Flintshire Chronicle reports.
Around 2,000 will be set free in the River Alyn at set times and the 25 winners from each race will feature in the grand final.
The scouts are hoping to raise enough cash to buy a new hut after the last one was found to contain asbestos.
Guests will be able to browse traditional stalls during the day and even help race-goers paint their ducks.
The overall winner will bag £100 pounds, with £50 going to those who are victorious in each heat.
A study recently suggested that children should be persuaded to try new activities because youngsters may lose their natural urges to be active depending on the environment in which they live, according to Cancer UK.
